One down; three to go

Well this is my first blog so don't expect anything great, namely Rachel since i figure you'll be the only one reading these. But that's OK because hopefully they'll just keep getting better for you :)

This past Saturday was a very special and important day. My sisters wedding day. This was one very incredible night for more than one reason. My favorite parts were the message Pastor Tim provided for us during the ceremony, the doxology sung by various people in my family and the dancing. Pastor Tim's message was focused mainly on synergy. And how he put it was like this... if there are two horses and one can pull 10,000 pounds and the other can pull 7,000 pounds the two together should be able to pull 17,000 pounds right? Wrong. They can pull 30,000 pounds! This is the idea that two people working together can do things that only one person would not imagine doing by themselves. But then there is a third. And this third is Jesus Christ. And with Him all things are possible and nothing should seem insurmountable. So this was the overall theme of Pastor Tim's message. Then next the doxology sung by our families famous quartet; my dad, my two uncles and grandpa. And might i say excellent job :) It was so good i had chills up and down my spine. But the last favorite was the dancing. There was fast dancing mostly and that was awesome but i got two slow dances in and they were both very good dancers. But the reason for all of this was because of Amy and Jeremy's love for each other. And so without them submitting to God's will, He brought them each other. A couple united by Christ for Christ and His future Kingdom. so now that this one is off and married that leaves us three: Kindra, me and Josh. And we will only be brought this kind of amazing love by living for Christ and keeping focused on Him in all things.
